Ghosthour a Danny Phantom and Ben 10 crossover Ch5

Maddie charged at Ghostfreak, upon dispatching the last one of his minions. She unleashed a hail of blasts upon her possessed husband. Ghostfreak gracefully dodged each one of them, without braking his contact with the portal.
Maddie managed to get into contact range to him, and swung her anti-ghost at him like a club. He dodged the hit by an inch, and smacked his host's wife across the room, knocking her out.

Ben and Dannie bought their way through the minions. Danny blasted them by the dozens with his energy blast. Ben was less efficient, but still resourceful. Despite the minion's ability to become intangible, they still had to take on a material form to attack, which was exactly the point at which Ben punched them in the face.
Danny wiped-out the last wave of the minions with his ghost rays. Ben opened the door, and charged in. Danny followed.
"Mom!" Danny yelled in terror upon seeing his unconscious mother.
"Ghostfreak!" yelled Ben, while violently charging at him.
"Oh my, what rage, what savagery" Ghostfreak teased him while dodging his punches "you really don't care that you may maim poor Mr. Fenton with your excessive strength?"
"I'm only trying to knock him out, so you can't use him anymore."
"Smart boy" said Ghostfreak, while dodging another punch. He then proceeded to grab the arm, and use the energy of the punch to toss Ben across the room. Upon hitting the wall, Ben reverted back to his human form.
Ghostfreak leaped right after him.
"Let's finish this" he said, as he prepared to snap Ben's neck. Before he could even touch him, he was tossed aside by an invisible force.
"Let go of the kid, and let go of my father!" Danny screamed.
A sadistic grin appeared on Jack's face. "Come to papa" he said as he charged at Danny. He hit a piece of equipment, as he phased through Danny's intangible body. Before he could get his stuff together, he got smacked around the room several times with Danny's telekinesis.
He got back on his legs, only to be hit by an energy blast. A blast that left Jack untouched, but scorched Ghostfreak's essence.
"And stay down!" Jazz called.
Ghostfreak looked up, to see Jazz, Max, Tucker, and Sam aiming the anti-ghost guns at him, while Gwen was preparing a binding spell.
He immediately jumped back on his feet, and made a run for the portal, ignoring the pain from the blasts that kept hitting him. He leapt onto it, and began draining immense masses of the highly unstable energy from the portal that remained untended for way too long.
Jazz jumped in, and re-attached the filter
Ghostfreak howled with excruciating pain. The pain in his shriek, was enough to freeze everyone's blood with sheer terror.
And yet, despite all of his pain, he continued feeding, swallowing everything, including the black smoke that began pouring out.
Jack's face became twisted into a skull-like shape. His legs were twisted into a shape resembling those of a spider. He grew long claws on his hands, tentacles grew out of his chest, and spikes out oh his back. His body proceeds to stretch and expand, until he reached the size of an African elephant. He released a howl that shook the tower to its core.
He released another scream, one of sheer, utter madness, as he leaped at Danny.
Danny reacted with shock as the claws slashed his chest. He could not phase through him anymore.
The second arm prepared to impale him, only to be stopped with Gwen's binding spell. Ghostfreak focused his strength, and began tearing his bounds.
Meanwhile, Jazz was panicking. "Ghostfreak must have burned out the filter! It must be replaced, but we can't get close enough due to the energy discharges."
"Gwen can protect you with her magic" Ben called.
"I'm busy restraining Ghostfreak here."
"Let him go" Danny said "I can handle him. If the filter isn't changed, the portal will explode, taking the whole state with itself!"
"Go Gwen, I'll hold him off" said Ben, as he slammed the Omnitrix.
His skin turned yellow, and he grew several times in height, while his muscles grew slightly in mass. His face warped into the form of a vampire bat, with its massive bat-ears where the eyes should be. Numerous green eyes began appearing on various parts of his body, all-glowing with energy.
"EYE GUY!"
Just as Ghostfreak broke his chains, numerous energy blasts struck him down. Danny got back up, and made sure he stayed down.
Meanwhile Gwen created an energy field blocking the portal's discharges. Jazz, Tucker, Max, and Sam were all busy at work changing the filter, and fixing the overheated connections.

Danny and Ben proceeded to unleash one wave of attacks after another upon Ghostfreak, who has regressed into an almost beast-like state of mind. He snarled at them while dodging their attacks, and lashing out on them with his claws and tentacles. With brute force, they were able to force him up the roof.
"This is pretty bad" said Ben "he's too tough for us to simply knock him out, without hurting seriously hurting him."
"There may be a way" Danny said "but I'll need you to distract him."
"Ay ay captain!"
Danny flew towards the possessed Jack. He swung his claws and tentacles at him, only to become the target of Ben's eye-blasts. Danny slipped through, and phased inside of his body.
He found himself in the middle of an all-consuming blackness. He carefully looked around, and found Jack, tied-up with silver strings. He rushed towards him, and began untying him, but the feeling of an overwhelming presence disturbed him. A giant purple eye opened right in front of him, and tentacles from all around attacked him. Before he could figure things out, he found himself tossed out of Jack's body.
"It's bad, his defenses are too strong. He rejected me before I could get through to dad."
"If someone distracted those defenses, could you get through to him?" Ben asked.
"Well, yes, but I'd need a second ghost or half-ghost for that, but the ghost portal is unstable, and I don't know if Dani is still in town."
"I think I could have a solution for this problem, but it's kinda risky."
"How risky?"
"I have only one transformation left, so we'd only have one shot at this. I'd need to stay human for a while for it to work, so I'll be completely helpless. And even if it works, there'd be nobody left to distract Ghostfreak for a second go."
"I understand, I'll protect you while you do your stuff."
"Good, one more thing, when I say now, you'll have to touch the Omnitrix."
"Understood." Danny replied.
Ben reverted to his human form, and began fiddling with the Omnitrix. Ghostfreak immediately lashed his tentacles at him, only for them to be frozen and shattered by Danny. New tentacles immediately grew in their place and continued their attack, with Danny proceeding to dispatch them.
Ben finished his settings on the Omnitrix, as it's display turned from green to yellow.
"DNA scanner activated" a mechanical voice announced.
"Now!"
Danny swooped down, and slammed the Omnitrix.
The display turned back to green. "DNA-scan completed."
Ben slammed the Omnitrix. His hair turned white as he phased into an outfit consisting of a black shirt with a white V on it's chest, white pants, black boots, and white gloves. The green Omnitrix logo appeared at the center of the V. A chinstrap, connected to two headphones materialized on his head. His eyes flashed with green light.
"PHANTOM MENACE!" Ben yelled as his transformation was complete.
He immediately flew past Danny, who was still wrestling the tentacles, and phased into Jack's body.
"Stupid kid!" Danny thought to himself "didn't we agree to do this together?"
Suddenly an energy blast hit the tentacles, causing them to let Danny go. He looked down.
"Jazz, Mr., Tennyson, Gwen, and Tucker are just finishing their work on the portal, so I thought I'd make my self-useful elsewhere" Sam announced.
"Thanks! Could you please keep this guy busy for a while?" Danny asked.
"Sure" Sam replied, as she opened fire on Ghostfreak.
Danny used the monsters moment of confusion, and phased in.
Inside he found Ben doing his best to fight off the tentacles swarming all around him. It was a loosing battle, but it was enough to win Danny some much needed time.
He rushed to the bound Jack, and broke his bonds. A look of manic appeared on the eye. Danny proceeded to punch it.
Moments later Ben and Danny found themselves outside again. On the ground, lay an unconscious Jack. Above them, hovered a formless monstrosity of tentacles, claws, and mouths, filled to the brim with dagger like teeth.
Sam looked at the thing in terror "The Blind Idiot God" she uttered.
Black flames burst out of the monstrous Ghostfreak's many mouths, and began scorching the roof. Danny immediately swooped down to pull Sam out of the flame's way. Ben flew to grab Jack, but he was no longer there.
Then they noticed Jack standing in the middle of the flames. Barely holding himself upright, but still looking at the beast that was Ghostfreak with unshaken resolves.
"You made me hit my wife!" he yelled at the monster, his voice thundering with righteous anger.
He grabbed a lightning rod, which was charged with residual Ecto-energy, with his gloved hand, and tossed it like a spear. The spear stabbed the beast in one of its mouths. It released a maddening scream that could be heard across the entire city.
"Yeah, cry more" Jack muttered, before he fell unconscious.
Ben caught him before the flames could reach him.
The three still conscious heroes watched the heavily mutated and insane Ghostfreak hovering above the tower. The situation seemed dire. They could not fly away due to the energy field all abound them, and they could not return back inside, because the roof was on fire. And fighting him would mean risking Jack's life.
Danny and Ben prepared for the worst, when they noticed something. The energy shield around then began to disappear. The clouds began parting, and rays of the morning sun fell on Ghostfreak.
He shrieked with immense pain as the sun began to burn him up. Black smoke rose from him, but his many mouths began devouring it, and reforming his body. Ghostfreak was stuck in an endless circle of self-consumption.
Danny and Ben looked down again, and saw the black flames parting and disappearing. It was Gwen, using her magic to clear the way for the others. Grandpa Max was the first to follow her, with Jazz and Tucker carrying and unconscious Maddie right behind him.
"Jazz fixed the portal!" Grandpa Max announced.
"I noticed" replied Danny, as he and Ben landed.
"Now only to take care of big and ugly here" Ben added.
"I'll handle that" said Jazz, as she activated the Fenton Thermos.
The thermos began sucking in the black smoke. The creature panicked and tried to attack, but was too distracted by it's own actions to do any proper damage.
"Time to speed things up" said Tucker, as he activated his Thermos.
Sam soon followed suit, as did Danny. The creature slowly shrunk, as it had its essence drained. It's body crumbled and dissolved into black smoke. Eventually only Ghostfreak himself remained. He gave Ben a look full of disgust and contempt. He then flew upward, and burned-up in the sun.
"Is it over?" Sam asked.
"Not yet" answered Jazz. "Now that the portal is fixed and Ghost Freak is gone, the whole building is going to revert to its original state. We better get out of here before that happens!"
"Leave it up to me" said Gwen.

A few days have passed since our heroes vanquished the menace that was Ghostfreak. They used their time to rest, and recover from their injuries. But the time for parting ways has come, and the Tennyson family had to move on.
Grandpa Max seemed a bit nervous.
"What's wrong, Grandpa?" Gwen asked.
"The Null Void Projector. I was not able to find it since it broke in the fight with Zs'Skayr."
"Is this what you are looking for?" said Maddie, as Jack handed him the projector.
"You fixed it?" Max asked.
"It was the least we could do for you, after what you did for us." said Maddie.
"You are too kind, but it's Jazz who deserves most of the credit. She has shown excellent leadership skills and discipline in the face of danger." replied Max.
"Yeah, too bad she won't use them for the family business" Jack said sadly "I should have known she'd never agree to it willingly."
"No need to feel down" Max said to Jack "your daughter cares about you deeply, and so does your son. That boy has great potential. You should be proud of both of your children."
"Yes. And you know, back while I was struggling for control over my body with that ghost, I had a vision. I was tied-up in the middle of darkness, but then Danny descended to me in a pillar of light, and cut me loose."
"Oh, that's nice" said Jazz, who was listening nearby.
"By the way, what happened to the Fenton Thermoses with the creature's essence?" asked Gwen, who was keeping Jazz Company for the past few days.
"We kept one for research purposes, and released the rest into the Ghost Zone." Said Jack.
"Oh...." Said Jazz, as she tried to hide the terror that sent shivers down her spine.

Meanwhile in the Ghost Zone, Ember McLain, Penelope Spectra, Johnny 13, Kitty, and Desiree were fighting an army of obsidian-scaled fish-men, who kept materializing from a black smoke that one day appeared in the Ghost Zone.
"What do these freaks want from us anyways?" asked an angry Ember.
"I don't think you want to know" replied Spectra "just don't drop the soap!"

"Speaking of portals" said Jack "I think the portal you built does not actually lead to the Ghost Zone. It seems like you managed to create a gate into another dimension. That would explain why you didn't need an Ecto-Filtrator. You should really show this think to NASA."
"I think I will" said Max.
A bit to the side of them, Danny and Ben had their own conversation.
"For a kid of your age and ego, you are pretty damn good" said Danny.
"And for a guy with only one transformation, you are pretty awesome too" answered Ben.
"Not in front of my parents" Danny whispered.
"You are still hung-up on this thing?"
"Can't help it. I guess I'm just the type who sticks to tradition, no matter how outdated or nonsensical it may be."
Jazz and Gwen exchanged their compliments as well.
"You definitively have the stuff to become one of the world's greatest heroes, just as big as Danny or Ben" Jazz said.
"You do as well" Gwen replied.
"Nah, the whole hero business is not for me, I have different ambitions."
"Then do your best in chasing them" said Gwen, as she smiled on Jazz.
Then Gwen came to Danny, and gave him her two cents of advice.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll stay away from that harpy! She'll ruin your life!"
Then Gwen walked away towards the Rust Bucket.
"What's her problem?" Danny thought.
Grandpa Max and Ben soon joined Gwen in the Rust Bucket. Their exchanged their last farewells, and hit the road.
"So, which town are we visiting next?" asked Gwen.
"Ask Ben, he has the map."
"Next stop, Gravity Falls!"

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Dash was still hanging from the Nasty Burger sign by his underwear.
"Hello? Is there anybody out there?"
Paulina was passing by.
"Hey babe!" Dash said "If you help me down, I'll reward you with the most awesome evening of your life!"
Paulina laughed and shot a picture of the hanging Dash with her cellphone, before walking away.
"Damn it" Dash said "I should have gone to Mr. Smoothy's instead."
